  1. Hi there, Esther,

I have been following your blog for awhile and found it interesting. Who knew we would have a more connection than your designs and crafting. My granddaughter, Aviana was diagnosed with the Champ1 mutation last year and she is my special champion granddaughter. I may ask questions to you if you don’t mind on how to be supportive to my son and daughter in law as to information and resources.

    Stay positive,

    1. Hello Yvette, Thank you for your comment. I think the best source of information will be coming from https://champ1foundation.org As for supporting caregivers the best thing is to be for them by listening to their concerns about their child. It is also important for caregivers to have breaks from caregiving. That could be in the form of respite services from a government agency if that is available in your area or family/friends that are trustworthy and that the caregivers feel comfortable leaving their child with. It is nice to meet you and thank you for following my blog. As I posted, I am on hiatus and will not be updating blogs posts for now. Thanks, Esther
